Hi,im new to this site and was just wondering if any of you guys have known of a procedure to cover scarring from a old hair transplant i had some time ago. Is there a incision that can be made to reduce,or hide the look of the scar on a closed shaved head? Maybe not with a hair transplant Doctor, a plastic surgeon or others might be more experienced with such procedure? Better results? I have heard of FUE, but results aren't great in scar tissue and even then its still detectable. Or even tattooing has been mentioned?? I think the incision best as it sounds like it might give better results but would like to know of any experiences/advice..........................AND speaking of advice Please any young guys out there going for a Transplant, think how your hair will still keep receding, thinning, before you do have anything done! You have got to realise that one day you WILL be older and you really will have to deal with any scarring then, no matter how Doctors say the scarring is not noticable now, one day you will want to buzz your hair and Then it will show! Remember these guys are after your money ultimately, very few care about the effects on your later life.

You would have probably gotten more response if you put this in the correct area of the forum.

Try Dr Wolf in Ohio.

FUE would be the best method for getting hair into your scar area.

oh, there is a guy at my gym who tried the tatooing over his scar then shaving..

looks horrible. but that's just one case.
