Scalpicin w/ Hydrocortisone

Hi,

I'm considering buying some Scalpicin Maximum Strength which contains 1% Hydrocortisone.

I'm wondering if this stuff is worth investing in for use on random itch spots. I think the PPG in Folligen is causing me some trouble but I can't be sure.

The itching is mostly towards the back crown/vertex on my scalp, where the most thinning is.

I wonder if any of you have tried it and if it's worth using? I read something saying that cortisone is bad for skin or causes damage.

Please enlighten me.

If you use is consistently for long periods of time its not good for the skin. A few days would be ok, to get a flare up under control.
