scalp still itching/burning/stinging while on finasteride

isn't finasteride supposed to almost completely stop hair loss? i've been taking i still get the itching and burning sensation on the top of my head and around my hairline. always figured finasteride would stop this feeling or at least make it a lot less.

no... finasteride simply slows down baldness by reducing overall dht by approx 80%... you will still lose hair... more bases need to be covered in your regimen that finasteride simply can't take the brunt of... to reduce itchy scalp try microneedling/dermastamping

Finasteride does stop hairloss. You don’t need 100% DHT inhibition, that a common misconception.
