In August of 2007 I began the big 3. By October I began getting random pimples on my scalp. I've never had acne, and I never had a single pimple before this in my life. I believe that the big 3 triggered this problem. I stopped taking finpecia in Nov of 2008. I stopped with Nizoral in December of 2008. I stopped minoxidil in June of 2008.
The pimples never stopped.
I got fed up by the end of April 2009 and went to see a Dermatologtist who has pescribed propecia and Loprox. I began taking propecia again during May of 2009. I've been on Loprox for a month with no results. Now I've been prescibed T-Gel and Nizoral (which I told the doctor didn't help when I was on it the first time).
I don't think I will ever maintain the little hair I have left with propecia unless I'm able to figure out what is causing my scalp to breakout. With all the crap that I'm putting on my head, I'm probably going bald faster.
1) Why the hell won't this go away with all the products that are normally prescribed for this?
2) Does this condition I have effect propecias abilitiy to work?
