Scalp Pain/Itch

Right really need some help.

Im having a terrible/itch pain constantly on my head and i would definitely say ive been losing more hair all over, more than i used too.

Ive been back on finasteride for about 3 months again, stopped for a month due to being in hospital and i use finasteride 1mg every day now and nizoral x3 a week, T-Gel a few times and loreal thickening shampoo. I also have been using Tricomin shampoo and conditioner

Ive tried enu oil for a month now and no luck. Going to try Scalp Exiar next but really need to know what product should work????

try to stick to 1 treatment/shampoo. Dont keep on trying new things out in a short period of time because this could be bombarding your scalp more than you should be. if your on finasteride stick with it and use nizoral 2 or 3 times only and get one shampoo and stick with it for 6months.

Do you think this is inflamation ive got?? And is there anything to combat this, extra sort of thing. Cause i would say this causes my upset and is speeding up my hair loss

I would suggest trying to not shampoo/wash your hair at all for 3-4 days. Does it get worse or better? Then try shampooing twice a day. Does it get worse or better?

At least then you'll know if you are itching because you are treating your hair too much or not enough.

Ye maybe i am treating my hair to much, ill try just washing once a day and on nizoral days twice maybe, what you think. When my hairs left wet it itches like hell and if i leave conditioner in it feel soothed. It is much worse this year causes it itches all over. Really want to sort it. Its painful when pressed too.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I had a horrible itch for 1-2 months before it kind of went away. But I'm using the same stuff you are. I've basically been on finasteride for 6 weeks and I rotate nizoral/tricomin/tgel. Seems to have worked for me.

Same here, feels itchier when my hair is still wet after a bath. Maybe you should dry your hair with a towel. Do you use the tricomin hair spray as well? That helps as it has menthol in it which cools down your scalp.
