Scalp Massage After minoxidil

Do the massage of the scalp is necessary after i apply minoxidil.

I ask this because i have very long hair and with the massage i think more of the topical get on the hair instead of the root. I'm using classic minoxidil (alcohol+PG)

Will massaging my scalp with the top of my minoxidil droper can be enough?
Any solution maybe foam, liposomal or minoxidil with retain a can get minoxidil to the hair root without massage.

I would stick with liquid minoxidil if I were you. Just use the eye dropper.
Make sure you are touching the skin with the eye dropper when applying minoxidil then use your fingers to spread it around a little bit. That's all.
You don't need to massage the scalp.
