Scalp less itchy on propecia?

Started propecia only a few days ago. Seems like my scalp itches less... is this plausible or placebo effect? I can't judge by hairfall, because this has been a slower-than-usual month for that anyway. I've also started using more powerful conditioners rather than an abrasive saw palmetto/azelaic acid/copper peptide conditioner I used before. That stuff is still in my shampoo, however.

No sides from the propecia yet either.

I think it's placebo specially because you just started but then again, DHT reduction is correlated with sebum production so it may make your scalp feel better or less oily.

I know a lot of people on this forum who take finasteride reported a 'tight hat' feeling on their scalp during their hairloss, which went away as they continued to use finasteride. I definitely had the same phenomenon... my hair always felt bothered when I used to run my hands through it. I can't quite describe it... it was like my follicles had anchored my hair in one position and didn't particularly enjoy anything running against its grain. After 10+ months on finasteride though it feels healthy and normal. :)

I had the itch and tight sore feeling which stopped after propecia. I makes sense because part of MBP is auto imune in which your body is actually attacking the hair because of DHT
