Anyone know why this is happening? When I mean my hair is thinning I mean that the strands of hair that fall out are looking thinner. They aren't as thick or as dense as they use to be. Anyone know why this is? Is it because my scalp is dry or is that hair just falling out for good? I only use nizoral.

What you described xcrusher is exactly what Androgenetic Alopecia is.
Since you're only using Nizoral to treat your hair loss and is helpful at doing so, it really won't do much to put a stop to the underlying cause of Androgenetic Alopecia, which is DHT. You will need to get on a 5-AR inhibitor such as Dutasteride or Finasteride, those two medications are strong at fighting Androgenetic Alopecia and have been shown to do so.
About the itching, using Nizoral is not the best shampoo to use to treat Androgenetic Alopecia. The itching is most likely caused by the sodium laureth sulfate in Nizoral, and can actually cause irritation since that cleansing agent itself is an inflammatory compound. I recommend to use Regenepure DR, it is currently the only 1% Ketoconazole shampoo out there that's fit for daily use. Regenepure DR is also sulfate free and has water and aloe vera gel as its two main base ingredients, so it's soothing to the scalp.

I second Agustin Araujo's answer. You absolutely need to get on a 5-AR inhibitor if you have male pattern baldness / Androgenetic Alopecia.
If your hair is thinning mostly at the crown and along the hairline but not, for instance, at the back and sides of your head, you have male pattern baldness without doubt. Rarely, hair thinning can occur uniformly over the entire scalp. This form of hair loss is usually caused by nutritional deficiency, and it is temporary. It is far more likely that you have male pattern baldness than this, however. The scalp itching you are experiencing is also a strong indicator of male pattern baldness.
If you have male pattern baldness, Nizoral alone will not save your hair. Neither will Minoxidil for that matter. The only thing that will save your hair is Finasteride or Dutasteride.

Which finasteride should I buy? I looked through inhousepharmacy and there's a bunch. I don't want something to strong either because I'm only 20 and don't want it to effect me too much.

anything that contains finasteride. Take between .5mg and 1.25mg (if you get the 5mg ones get a pill cutter and split them into 1.25mg quarters). Get generic, not name brand to save money

hair itching is caused by a mixture of scalp inflammation (acne), sweating, DHT, and sebum build up.
only time i get an itch is when my scalp breaks out an acne spot. I'll notice while working, and getting a sweat going that I get the odd sting, and itch exactly where my scalp is inflamed. Like I said it's a mixture of things/
