I have noticed that my scalp gets sore and tender a lot of times after shampooing or randomly sometimes. Then when some hairs falls out, there is always sebum attached right above the root of the hair. Can someone tell me some reasons why this could be happening? I use an SLS free shampoo, and use Nizoral 2X a week.

nizoral ideally should sort it. im only 18 but i use nizoral every 2 or 3 days and when i leave it for a bit and get lazy with my shampooing, i really feel the effects of it in my scalp. its probably male pattern baldness and you should probably get a lot more religious with your nizoral and maybe look into other stuff if your hair disappears at all. sorry to say it, but there it is.
