Scabs with Hair attached

i'm 10 days post op and just starting to lose some of my scabs in the last day or two. thing is, of about the 10 chunks of scabs i've found in the sink, etc., probably 7 of them have had hair attached. i'm not sure if this is normal (ie. the root of the hair is already imbedded and the hair that i see attached to the scab is a natural shed of this hair) or whether it means that i've "lost" this graft.

i'd love to know from other people's experiences whether they've noticed anything similar??

Dont worry this is normal the hairshaft and root will usually come away with the scab but the implanted follicle is still in place.

thanks man!! that is a big relief to hear...

i thought i was a pretty patient person, but this is a tough wait!! not only for the scabs/redness to go away, but also just to see the finished result (or at least mostly finished after say 6+ months). in the meantime, you have to wonder if you're losing grafts and how many will actually grow and how natural it'll look etc....

Best to just forget about it, its a tough wait but after that you've got the rest of your life to enjoy the results. BTW in my experience the wait is like this:

3 months = Start of growth
4/5months = growth spurt
6/7 months = 60 - 80% of final improvement
8/910 months = 80 - 90% of final results
11/12/13 months = final thickening up of newly grown hair, finished result.

This is just a rough guide results vary.
