some months ago i read in the german alopecia forum that one member received an answer via mail from dr. lindner.
it says they are practically done and don't have enough funding, thus won't continue with the research.
not sure if it's true but i wouldn't be surprised at all. they didn't succeed with the DP culturing problem. however dr. beren atac or others from the team might still attend the next hair congress and give some presentation, probably to create some interest and maybe funding.
meanwhile lauster's team was even beaten with the whole organ on a chip concept.
other companies and universities already presented more advanced of such chip organ platforms in the recent years.
so my guess is they are game over with hair loss research and organ on a chip platforms. that beeing said, i mean they seem to have no serious interest to bring the stuff to market. but because they are a university i assume they will still tinker around a bit with these topics unless they find a new promising research topic.
