S5 Shipping question

New here, but been lurking for a while. Rogaine isn't cutting it for me and before I try finasteride, I thought I would give a topical a try for a few months (I do use nizoral 2x week).

I am considering the S5 cream sold on this site, but I am worried about shipping in this heat (Southeast US). It could possibly sit in my mailbox for a couple of hours, too. On the photo of the cream, it indicates that it should be stored at room temperature or refrigerated. Is shipping in the summer a good idea? Would heat harm the formula? Thanks in advance.

Man I am the same way...I HATE ordering anything in the summer because I worry about the heat.

There is two ways around this which I do in the summer.

1. Ask to make the package "signature required"...it will cost an extra .25 to a $1. If nobody is home they will leave this pink colored slip on the door and take the package back to the post office. You have 15 days to get it. All you got to do is go to the post office and go to the area that has the doorbell by the PO boxes and ring it. Someone comes over and you hand them the slip. You don't even need to wait in line!

2. Send it to your work which is iffy.

That's a good idea. I will do that if I order.

Do you think that the active ingredients will be harmed if they sit in a hot mail truck or facility?

The last time I did it a few weeks ago I charged an extra .19 cents. They are always curious why I do it and when I tell them they are always willing to do it.

Kind of a pain in the *** going to the post office but at least I know my purchase will be ok.

Honestly I don't know...I have never read anyone saying so but I worry anyway ...just like you do!

I'm waiting a few more weeks (still in the mid to upper 80s F here). If I like it, I'll order enough in the spring to get me through next summer.
