Ru58841 Users - With Minoxidil Or Without?

I have seen differing results with both, but i have seen people who have just used RU58841 on its own maintain their hairline. I am 3 months into using RU with minoxidil 5% - would you use minoxidil as part of your regime with ru?

Also, are we looking at 6 months plus to see results - i noticed that hellouser didnt see substantial results until over 6-9 months.
Thanks for any help.

Long time lurker. Now, regular poster.

I used Accutane in 2010. I tried to exercise everything from over the counter, proactive, and other holistic nutritional supplements and products. Without fail, acne continued.

It didn't matter if it was a bday, Xmas, prom , date night, acne. Even worse, I got cystic acne as an adult. It scars after getting inflamed and it ruins the dermis. After that started, I ordered Accutane online since my dermatologist wouldn't prescribe me. He's a good man. Holy. He probably feared I'd go nuts on it but, once I told him I would use it online, he prescribed 80mg for six months.

Side effects git horrible so, I stopped at four or five. I followed YouTuber psychedelic substances. He too used it and he's cue ball. Suits him though lol guy trips, has a gf, gets youtube money, etc. He has a kid. Married. Awesome!

Anyway, Accutane fixed acne but it damaged my hair. It is a amplifier to male pattern baldness IMHO. Fortunately, I have hair. It's just unhealthy or do I feel. I am likely nw2/3. I not done thin hair. I use 5% Rogaine 2x a day. I am going to monitor hair, eyes, blood pressure, chest pain.

Advice : ease stress. Lower cortisol stress hormone. Do yoga, exercise, run or jogging, eat healthy foods, lean meat and leafy green veggies. Try meditation.

I have a anxiety disorder, acne, hair, short, under sized, etc. I am fighting Darwin, survival of the fittest. You only have one life. Live it. Don't let this control you.

I still want to live, travel, start a business, have a gf, get married, have kids. When my hair goes, I will under cut it, shave or buzz. Nothing lasts forever.

Good luck pal.

If you are trying to regrow lost hair I would incorporate minoxidil.

I am trying, but i am looking at maintaining and getting a hairtranplant for the front and sides. I am a nw2 going towards nw3 in the next few years. I have heard that RU can stop the DHT and thinning dead in its tracks but minoxidil can cause a shed...any ideas? Thanks for helping

You can mix your RU in your minoxidil if you like but i think it is better to mix small batches of RU weekly and use them separately. Both RU and Minoxidil can cause minor sheds you just need to power though to see results at the 3 month mark. Worst thing you can do is to stop once you have started as you will lose all you have gained.

As the other poster said...it seems any hair loss remedy can cause sheds which sucks since we want to GAIN hair not LOSE hair. However a lot of treatments for acne do this too...when I took Accutane it made my skin terrible (much worse than before) for two months and then cleared everything up.

Thank you for the response, i usually put my minoxidil on 30 minutes after i have applied the ru, i probably should go down the route of making the ru from home, but im finding it tough getting hold of some of the materials. I will power through, seems to have got worse the last 3 months, but i will keep going, the hairs on my hairline are becoming weaker and shedding.

Thanks for the knowledge, im 3 months in and my hair is defiantly shedding and thinning on the hairline, i have seen people say you need to go to 9 months before it thickens sometimes, its frustrating but i i will keep going.

Your still early into this protocol so keep going until the 6 month mark. It can also depend what kind of responder you are I am a very slow responder so it takes me a year to notice results.

Thanks bud, its just been a frustrating first four months, ru with minoxidil twice a day. Im doing after showering and then derma roller like hellouser said, i do think that makes a difference, tempted to add finasteride as well, but i will give it a year and see what happens, the front line hairs are shedding and thinning, no idea if thats a good thing or bad.

Yes, i didn't get much success, maintained more than anything, haven't tried it in combination with ru, but finasteride does make me worry that it effects how you are, makes you tired etc etc...your thoughts or any advice?
