rogaine worsens hair loss?

hi, just wondering if anyone out there has ever thought that rogaine use has actually worsened/accelerated their hair loss. my hair used to be thick when i first started rogaine...in retrospect, i should never have started the stuff. ever since, my hair has thinned quickly and relentlessly. any similar experiences? did stopping rogaine use stop the hair fall??

how long you been using it for?
it can cause shedding but that's so it regrows hair anyway
it's not guaranteed to work btw but shouldn't worsen hairloss if it doesn't, it's just male pattern baldness winning against minoxidil
