Ive used minoxidil for 7 months and 20 days.

i already experienced initial shedding since the 1st days of using minoxidil.
the shedding lasted 6 weeks.

and at the 4th month, hair loss almost stopped and got some baby hairs.
not much difference but slightly covered with my hair.

and after a month, i stopped using minoxidil only for a week.

and then, when i got back to minoxidil, shedding started again.

it was the 2nd shedding and it's been running for almost 4 months (3 months and 20 days)

i think my hair falls as much as before i used minoxidil.

I can still see baby hairs on my head but not thick. and it's falling out. ( i am applying minoxidil on my hairline even though there is no retreating because i wanted to get more beautiful hair line with baby hairs, however, the hair doesnt fall out at all and neither did temple hair , i don't know maybe that's because there is no alopecia on there in the first place)

shedding hair is half of thick, long hair and the other half is baby hair. (40 hairs falling out a day)

is it shedding? or just it doesn't work anymore?

btw, im a woman, 29 years old. 10 years of hair loss. always being stressful.
my hair loss is not male pattern baldness, it is diffuse and falling off my entire head (top, sides, back of neck, not hairline retreating or temple)
especially sides and back of neck (V line from my neck to ears)

i did a mineral test and my calcium, magnesium, zink, copper level was high, (especially calcium) and the others were low (potassium, sodium, etc)

my insulin level was slightly high, thyroid level was a bit high but Doctor said my thyroid didnt need to get treatment at this point.

have chronic fatigue and tinnitus (get tinnitus recently)
