Rogaine/minoxidil - time between application?

I have a question concerning how long one has to wait between applying Rogaine/minoxidil. I know the normal times are once in the morning and once in the evening but due to my schedule, the morning application is really not convenient during the week. Would it be possible to apply twice in the evening, perhaps 4-6 hours apart, and still get the same results?

Officially you should apply every 12 hours... but i would leave a minimum of 8 hours between the next application time.... which has never done me any harm.
