Hey everyone...

Was previously on Propecia 1mg daily... stopped a year ago due to side effects (libido & man boobs).

After a few months all side-effects went away, however I grew a LOT of hair back with the propecia.

Anyways, shedding commenced, so I got on rogaine foam a few months back. I noticed with the foam, I'd get dizzy after an application. I'm only using 1/2 a cup, and I have short hair...

Does anyone else have dizziness/headaches from the foam???

Yep, I had dizziness one morning a while back...so much so that I had to lie down for 15 minutes or more. I accidentally applied two doses. The stuff dries so fast that in my hurry to get ready I forgot I had already applied a dose. I've been much more careful since...but it convinced me beyond doubt that topical minoxidil is not to be taken lightly.

My dizziness had lasted two days, and I only applied it in the evening.

I'm at the point where I'd rather lose my hair, than have all these side effects from medications. I'll probably get a hair transplant in the near future anyways and be done with it.

Hey Tizzle. What I would do if I were you is stop rogaine for 2 days to get it out of your system and then apply a much smaller amount following. Perhaps even only a quarter cap full to where you need it most. A little does go along way. I've had problems in the past getting dizzy and found that if you decrease the amount it still grows hair in spots applied and you are likely to get dizzy. Also make sure you are not applying it right after you get out of the shower.
