Rogaine foam and Revita application questions

I have a few questions about Rogaine foam, hope I can get some feedback from other users:

Rogain foam:

1. It says to apply it twice per day; morning and night. However, due to my schedule I can't do this. I can apply it in the morning and then once again 4 hours later (it says this is the time needed for the product to be absorbed). Is this almost as effective? Or is it too much minoxidil in too short of a time frame?

2. Right now my hair is really short but if I grow it out how do I get the foam to go to my scalp without my hair blocking all of it? Would I just have to apply tons and tons so that all my head is wet with minoxidil?

3. The foam makes my hair stick together and I end up looking even balder. Is there a way around this? The foam only needs to be on the scalp, correct? So after I apply it can I use a comb or my hands to unstick my hairs?

4. If I want to wear a hat, do I just wait a few minutes for the foam on my scalp to be dry and then put on my hat?

Revita:

1. I bought some Revita to replace Nioxin as my shampoo. However, I've also been using Ketoconazole 2% twice a week. Since Revita has Ket 1%, how do I fit that in? Use Revita every night and still use Ketoconazole 2% twice a week after Revita? Or just replace Revita two nights per week with Ket 2%? I don't want to lose the benefits of 2%.

2. Now that I'm switching to Revita, I guess I won't use my Nioxin conditioner anymore. I know people here recommend Redken but I can't find it anywhere online and I don't live in the US. Should I just go without conditioner? Is it a big deal or not?

Thank you for your help! :) :)

as for your rogaine foam questions:
applying it again four hours after the first application will probably be pointless. You should wait at least 8 hours before a second application. If you dont think you can do twice a day, then just stick to once a day. One time a day is better than zero times a day. It'll still help your hairloss in some way, you just wont be getting its full potential.
applying it to longer hair can get a little tricky. I always keep my hair somewhat long, and when i first started using foam it took me a couple of weeks to figure out the easiest way to apply it. But you'll eventually figure out a method and then applying it will only take seconds.
as far as hats i usually wait like 20 minutes...try to make sure it is completely dry first.

I also just started using revita. Its only been like 3 weeks so its too soon to tell if its gonna help or not. Before i started revita i was using nizoral 1% three times a week. Now with revita in my regime i use nizoral two times a week and revita two times a week.

thx for your info.

I guess I'll use Revita every night and add in 2% Nizoral twice a week. I hope that won't be too much for my hair to handle.

Since adding Revita and Nizoral, no further hair gains but no losses either.

Still using Rogaine twice a day, trying to space it out as much as possible but its hard.
