Rogaine and RU58841?

Hello, I just came back from the dermatologist, who suggested I start with rogaine first for 6 months and see if there's any positive change. If there isn't, I should jump on finasteride.

Now, my question is, since rogaine is used twice daily (day/night), can I throw in RU58841 in there somewhere?

So if I use rogaine before work, and then right before sleeping, can I use RU588441 after I come work at around 5PM?

To the RU58841 users, how often do you apply it topically everyday? Any side effects on both rogaine and ru58841?

Aside from this, I've been taking pumpkin seed oil and massaging a mixture of essential oil / carrier oils.

What do you guys do about your hairline? I have been told that Rogaine doesn't work well on the hairline, how about RU58841 or any other topical solution?

Thanks all! I'll be taking pictures daily.

Jump on Finasteride first, then Rogaine. Same with RU58841, it should come after Finasteride. The topical treatments can be used as desired to fit your schedule. Every topical treatment will work on the hairline and on any area of the scalp. About Rogaine, it's stated by the manufacturer that it won't work well on the hairline because the clinical trials were done on the vertex only, so they can claim that it only works for that area. Rogaine does work on frontal hair loss however.

it works every where. it just happens the test was done, and conducted on the vertex albeit it will work every else just as well.

It does seem that the frontal region is more receptive, and sensitive to DHT

Funny a desperate moderator using every possible drug, and a hair transplant victim suddenly finding confidence by plastic surgery.

Thanks all.

My derm advised me to start rogaine first instead of finasteride. He even gave me a year supply of finasteride and to use it if the rogaine doesn't help in the next 6 months. He has said my male pattern baldness is only in the early stages.

He's never heard of RU58841, but I'm planning to supplement it in with my rogaine treatment.

Here's my anticipated regimen, can anyone comment?

minoxidil twice daily (day/night)
RU58841 (once after work)
Essential Oil/Carrier oil mixture (once a night after shower)

If I apply minoxidil after the essential/carrier oil mix, would it block the minoxidil?

I'm also starting to think maybe I should just use RU58841 until it stops working, then jump on minoxidil... what do you guys think?
