Hey guys,
I'm 28 years old and I've been using Rogaine for almost 5 years and it has worked well for me. I used to use it in conjunction with Proscar, but I heard about all the finasteride horror stories and dropped it.
Recently I've had to drop Rogaine too because I've read about how it can cause a puffy face (hamster face syndrome) and it can give you dark circles around your eyes and from what some people were saying the dark circles could become permanent. Now I've always been in very good shape, but I always noticed that my face was a little on the chubby side. When I dropped rogaine, my face started losing weight. Recently I've started doing some face exercise routine which has given me some excellent results, but due to stopping rogaine my hair has become slightly thinner, I kind miss the thickness rogaine gave me but I'm not sure if I could counter the puffy face syndrome with some facial exercises.
Has anyone tried to do so and has it worked well for you?
P.S. If I use less rogaine can it help? there was a time when I couldn't afford to buy rogaine monthly so I started using 2% 6 pumps a day and I was getting results with that.
Thanks.
