Ok guys, I thought I'd go ahead and create a log of my hopeful recovery of PFS. I'm creating this log at the moment because I believe I am having some success. I'd like to start things off by telling my back story. 2 actually. Here it goes:
In 2007, I decided to take a pro-hormone supplement called Rage. This is one of the most "hardcore" pro-hormone supplements on the market and I took the supplement very recklessly as I had no idea of the side effects/consequences it might have on my endocrine system. When I finished the supplement, I did not do a PCT (Post Cycle Therapy) to counteract the upcoming estrogen level rise. Over the next 6 months I completely lost my sex drive and enthusiasm about life in general. I also developed a small case of gyno which is what caused me to look in to what was wrong with me. I eventually found out that I did not do a proper PCT and was told to check out primordial performance. After calling and talking to a rep, he said that my system was probably completely out of whack because of Rage (and he knew of the pill I was talking about) and suggested that I buy their Testosterone Recovery Stack along with an extra bottle of Sustain Alpha. By the time I was done with about half of the second bottle of Sustain Alpha (about 1.5 months later) I was completely cured and EXTREMELY thankful.
Fast Forward to 2011. I was prescribed Propecia around the end of February. I took a full pill per day for about 2 weeks and began feeling the sexual side effects (transparent semen, lack of sex drive, impotence, etc.) as well as the mental side effects (racing thoughts specifically) and quit. Within 3 weeks everything was back to normal. I then somehow convinced myself that taking .25-.5 pill per day would cause no side effects. I proceeded to take .25-.5 pill per day for the next 1.5 months before my body crashed. I quit around 7/1. Have not taken a pill since, however I felt lasting sexual and mental side effects. Depression, constant racing thoughts, insomnia, loss of sex drive, impotence, etc. This time, however, they did not go away after the 2-3 week period as it did the time before.
I decided ~2 weeks ago to buy the Testosterone Recovery kit again. I had read numerous posts about how hard it is to get over PFS and began losing hope and feeling more depressed about possibly overcoming it, but i've made a conscious effort to try and ignore them. I have officially been on the Testosterone Recovery kit for 7 days along with 1000 MG of L-Arginine a day and exercising every day as well.
Today is the first day in almost 2.5 months that I have had morning wood, and what a great feeling! The racing thoughts I previously had are almost non existent right now and in general I just feel much happier and "awake" or something. However, I do still have trouble getting a full erection without the help of p**rn. Also, I observed my semen color today and it's as white as snow! It had been completely transparent the last time I noticed the color which was about a month ago I'd say.
Anyways, I'll be keeping everybody updated on this. If anyone is interested at all or has any questions please feel free to PM me.
Also, any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. (i.e. should I be taking zinc at the same time as Sustain?)
