My oldest girl is 10 and we found 2 small spot of hair loss last yr it then spread to the whole front of her head are Dr said it would grow back i didn't belive him i went to a dr that deals with hair loss started on cream just high dose cortisone
nothing happened so we moved on to the tar like cream it worked she grew hair back except for that area on the side of her head so then we did the oral pill off streriods a little better then we started the shots every 30 days we were on a roll new hair the pain was worth then out of no where the whole side of her head of hair fell out while washing her hair. so we start back on oral steriods again and shots start back up agian on the 30th of this month. we can hide most of it with a head band but she is upset and really just wants me to find a place that will replace her hair she saw it on tv .I would do it if i could find a place it cant be anymore painfully the what we are doing now.

it's a bit of a ghost town here, i sometimes come and post just to answer some questions

the treatment you saw on tv was probably using stem cells (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5t1jtmdA ... re=related)
this treatment is experimetal and i am not sure if it's legal to market it or not
actually i am pretty much sure it hasn't got FDA approval yet

i am going to say buyer beware though because i do have an iffy feeling about this and i didn't even see if the guy on the video had results or not
