Revivogen

Hey folks,

about 3 or 4 years ago I bought a box of revivogen, not really knowing anything about it (at that time finasteride and minoxidil and their process was completely unknown to me!) my hairline was completely fine and I think the reason I bought it was because my hair was really curely at the front and temples and I figured this stuff would thicken it up and straighten it more! (I know sounds dumb!)

I stopped using it because I noticed I was actually losing more hair! back then I never realised it was a shed. anyway, now I can see where it really did the harm. I have uneven patches of hair missing in my hairline, especially on one side that I feel were due to using it and then stopping.

I have a feeling it contains minoxidil which is the reason for this. I take it I'll never regrow that hair back :(

what are other peoples thoughts on revivogen?

never tried it but I know it doesnt have miox in it......

if you dont want to take finasteride or dutasteride you could always try spironolactone, fluridil, or RU

ah ok, though I assume shedding is a process revivogen users also cycle through?

I'm just starting to hear about spironolactone. has it had much impact alone? I've not come accross any success stories based on it.

its safe, easy, affordable and can certainly help ....that being said its greasy, somewhat mild as antiandrogens go, and not enough for some guys.

Since I dropped finasteride I have just essentially thrown the kitchen since of topicals at my scalp sans the minoxidil.

You are telling us that Revivogen topical serum made your hairloss worst ? How can you justify this ? I mean if anything the stuff is harmless and doesnt work. I have also saw the studies of GLA after Bryan informed me and it speaks for itself. People question how much is actually in Revivogen though.

I just want to make sure bro, cause i was considering doing the 1st Revivogen experiment with photos and results on this forum, but if it can do sh*t like that to me then no way.

Im looking for the best topical that will be a combo to the spironolactone.

Revivogen is know to give people big sheds but it's just a shed. It doesn't mean that you lost those hair forever. They will grow back.

Combo with spironolactone. I like idea of 2% ketoconazole cream (no shampoo) and spironolactone all together. That's what I added to my regime. I will let you know how it goes.

BTW. I started working out. I work out every other day one group of muscle at a time. I also started taking Amino Acids and Creatine.

Whats up Doctor good to hear from you again, and yeah i saw your going to add keto to the spironolactone. So far i give my success to the spironolactone i believe its halted if not atleast slowed it down alot. Do you take revivogen too ??? I am considering doing a revivogen experiment on myself. Its the only topical that has the GLA fatty acids, and these have been documented to work on seperate studies.

Also good to hear you started working out, those 2 supplements are good as well. Another tip on working out ill give you is, right after your done working out, get something to eat within an hour (30 mins if you can) it will balance out your bodys need to bring insulin levels back down. So if you want to indulge in ice cream, thats the perfect time.

I've never used revivogen myself but I know it can cause a massive shed, bigger than minoxidil; however, you will grow those hair back. There are mixed reviews when it comes to revivogen.
spironolactone is great. It also makes hair thicker.

Hi,
I'm getting frustrated with Hair Signals. It stains my skin around my scalp and it's very hard to wash it off. I also get the blackheads around the area where I apply HS.

I didn't notice any benefit from Hair Signals but I'm giving HS another shot - this time with Emu Oil.
(minoxidil, Hair Signals, spironolactone and then Emu Oil)

I agree revivogen is too controversal, they say they have GLAs as main ingredients but we have no clue how much. Their is a guy that formulated his own forumual called "Zix" he gets some flak but it may be better. Its similiar because he has another fatty acid in his and alot cheaper.

It appears Fluridil is one of the few topicals that hasnt had alot of bad reviews on this board from what im reading.

This is very true in my case. I'm going through the worse shedding that I've ever been through :\

It seems to be growing back so I hope you're right.
