Revivogen or Finasteride?

Have been reading up on Revivogen on this site, and it seems to be described as finasteride without the side effects, essentially. I can't seem to find too much solid data backing it up, however (not that I've been digging that long). Some study that gives it an 88% success rate is quoted a lot, and there is a link for a test of 50 people that gave it a 70% success rate.

It all sounds a little too good to be true, especially considering that most of the recommendations and regimens here are the finasteride-minoxidil-nizoral route.

Is this because Revivogen hasn't got enough data backing it up? Or am I missing something? Because a shampoo/hair cream that blocks dht a la finasteride, but with no potential side effects, sounds like it should be talked about a lot more than it is...

EDIT - Now reading about combining Revivogen and Topical spironolactone as an alternative to Finasteride. It's all very confusing. Anyone have any recommendations on whether Revivogen by itself or with Topical spironolactone is a reasonable alternative to Finasteride?

All I can say is I am using Revivogen and it's a great shampoo. Too early to tell if its making a difference but I take it with finasteride and notcies a lot less hairloss.

I would not say Revivogen works as well as finasteride, but it is an alternative for those who don't want to take finasteride due to sides.

BTW, the Revivogen shampoo and conditioner do not really help with hair loss. You must use the Scalp Therapy.

Revivogen does not compare to finasteride. It may have internal studies to say it works better in a trst tube but no double blind studies that it works on a comparable level to finasteride.

This is their own studies. Would you spend your hard earned money based on their own findings? A test on 50 people is so small that its barely worth mentioning. To have any meaninful data several hundred to a thousands patients are needed.

Agree on both points man, that's why I asked
