Retrograde Alopecia..what Does This Mean

Hey all

I have recently come to terms that I have retrograde alopecia. The sides by my ears are continuing to thin and my hairline is receding FAST.

What does having this type of hair loss mean. High Norwood scale in the future ? Not a good candidate for a hair transplant? Are these true? Anything else?

What can I expect. finasteride isn't working so far.

Probably yes. More aggressive hair loss, smaller donor area, bigger area to cover. Think I may have it on my sides too. Not sure. Lots of women seem to have thin sides also but it doesn't progress for them.
Just get on the strongest meds you can and try to keep it at bay until Replicel/Kyocera come through. (If they do).

It means you probably have male pattern baldness and retro. Depends how mild-severe retro is. For most it seems to be mild thinning around the ears and sides and nape. Worst case scenario you wouldn't be a good fue candidate and would have to get fut. All though that probably isn't the case.
