Hi,
its quite interesting how different forums have different trends, but on hairlosshelp they are all using retinA in conjunction with minoxidil, apprently it speeds up the minoxidil as it helps it absorb better ,
anyone on here use it? im thining about throwing it in the regime as many people on there swear by it,
who uses it? how are you using it? where are you getting it from (uk)
thanks

The thing you need to ask yourself is if you need more absorbation? Remember that Telogen Effluvium vehicle in the brand your using is alot more important for the amount absorbed then just adding Retin-A.

Why not just add a little bit more of your current Minoxidil if it's working for you? Imo it's better then buying a new brand where Retin-A is included. They probably added it for the simple reason that they can't compete with the brands
without Retin-A otherwise.

If your using 1ml on each application now, then try 2ml. You might notice some sides, I did and then you will know that enough is getting absorbed.

ive just read some really positive things about applying retin-a every other day, i dont wanna change my minoxidil im with regaine foam but wanted to get some retin a to add to the regime, ive told myself im not gonna use finasteride so just trying to find the best regime that works without it, retin-a isnt that easy to get in the uk tho !!

I have been doing alot of research and I have to change my previous statement. Retin-A is good for a ton of things. It accually grows hair on itself and would probably increase the effectiveness in any combined treatment with or without Minoxidil. I find Retin-A to be very interesting. Just watch out for Retinol and other brands because aren't nearly as good as Retin-A. Source: http://www.hairlossbuddha.com/retin-a-retinol-minoxidil-and-hairloss/

I read that article sounds great, and more importantly says it can grow hair in all areas....

Ive come off all hair loss treatments since I felt after almost 5 years there was not much difference, but after 8 months my dark circles around my eyes are no better so im considering perhaps going back to some form of treatments perhaps retin a and the minoxidil/finasteride maybe a good combo.

If anyone finds where to get some in the UK please post info !
