I bought quite a few tubes of Retin-A overseas and have been adding to minoxidil. Anyone else doing this? Hoping to add some spunk to the minoxidil after 10 years of use.....

Sweet Mother of Mercy....don't go dumping Retin-A cream into Rogaine!! Just use it separately!

Actually been on minoxidil sice about 1984 off a few years, then back on in the '90's. Working to maintain basically. No dramatic regrowth.

As the foremost advocate of Retin A minoxidil solutions I can tell you this. That sh*t made my hair so dry it was like I was wearing a straw hat all the time, and re-growth was not a benefit. Then I got smart and got on Lee's Xandrox with azleic acid, Lee says that Retin A is not a good thing for hair and does not recommend it to his patients.

I know wht your gonna say "Duh, but doesn't he sell Retin A solutions?" Yes, he does, but just so people who have been using them for a while can have the convenience of buying them from his site- he would never suggest them to his patients in this day and age.

Oh yeah, getting a tube of Retin-A cream and trying to squeeze every bit of it out into a bottle of Rogaine and then shaking it up for a long time trying to get it to dissolve and then wondering forever after if it really DID all dissolve and is actually working properly for you without causing some kind of adverse chemical reaction or wondering about the possible existence of some other unanticipated problem caused by mixing two entirely different kinds of vehicles (creams and solutions)....yeah, all that's REALLY easy!

Sheesh. Just use them SEPARATELY.
