Has anybody had any success with lower concentrations of minoxidil (2.5%)? Looking for ways to reduce the side effects and wanted to see if this option would be effective even if it’s at a slower rate. Thank you.

What side effects are you experiencing? Are you on anything else? It's best to be using a couple of treatments.

More loss than anything. I wanted to try and see if this might work but perhaps that’s the only option, to use something else.

Yes! I would definitely recommend 1.talking to your doctor about finasteride 2. buying a derma roller (they are like 10 bucks) and using that to enhance the minoxidil and 3. getting a hair loss shampoo (lipogaine is what i recommend) Its best to start using all of these now (there are most treatments that I use but these are good to start) because the sooner you get on the right regimen, the better your hair will be in the long run. Always remember too (i don't know how long you have been using minoxidil) that it takes time 6+ months for treatments to begin to show results. Keep me updated!

Thank you for all the info, I’ll definitely give it a shot. Maybe try changing dosages for side effects, I’ll keep you updated!
