Should i just stop treatment.

Keyser,
I was in your exact same shoes three (3) months ago (well sort of).
For eight (8) continuous months of Rogaine Foam coupled with Propecia, I was constantly shedding noticeable amounts of hair while applying the Foam both morning and night. Hairs would be stuck to my hands after applying the Foam!
Then slightly after eight (8) months, I noticed some thickening and cessation of the sheds. Concidentially, I then developed a case of minor scalp folliculitis and became paranoid that I would lose hair due to the irritation of the scalp and quitting of the Foam while the inflammation from the folliculitis calmed down.
Since the folliculitis incident I have been using Minoxidil maybe once a day, and my gains are continuing and have been confirmed by others at 10 months. A family member that inspected my folliculitis for me even stated that maybe the folliculitis could have been caused by new growth.
Currently, I quit using the Rogaine Foam because I think the folliculitis was either caused by the new growth (I am not sure this is the case but it happens in transplant patients sometimes) or the "fragrance" in the Foam gave me an allergic reaction after prolonged use. (Personally, I am beginning to think that people complaining of the constant shedding from Rogaine Foam may be suffering from an allergic reaction to the "fragrance"). Now, I only use Dr. Lee's Minoxidil 5% (PPG Free) once a day.
Bottom Line: Give it at least a year man!
Peace Out,
Dude
