I’m going in for FUT transplant surgery the first half of this week and deciding whether to use a copper peptide spray afterwards to try to do any of the following:
1) speed up the healing time. When I get small cuts or scapes, it normally takes me a long time for them to heal, they are slow to form scabs, and the scabs tend to stay on a very long time. I’d say about triple the length of time most people get. That means if most people get scabs in the new areas for 1 week, I’d be 3 weeks (and end up avoiding going on dates, and any social events where a hat can’t be worn) unless I find something that helps.
2) to increase the percentage of grafs that end up successful
3) to reduce the dormancy phase of the new follicles.
4) any other benefits
Does anyone have the details of any studies that have been done (whether successes or failures) on copper peptides by independent third parties. I want to know what ingredients were used, in what quantities and for how long, and what percentage of people benefitted in what respects. I’m pretty willing to spend $100 to $150, given the cost of my surgery is far more than that, but I want to get a product that matches the ingredients used in successful studies. I’ve spent hours looking through forum posts about Tricomin, Folligen and GraftCyte and have seen all kinds of anecdotal stories, but I need to see actual studies and ingredients/protocols before I plop $150 down. I would greatly appreciate if anyone with the info from studies, or links to the info, would share it with us.
Thanks!
