Research On Skin Colour In Terminal Areas

I was wonder if there has been any documentation of peoples skin changing colour when taking things like minoxidil and/or finasteride?

I'm asking as I noticed in artifical light at certain angles I can definitely see a change in colour from what was my original NW0 hair line. I had to go and check against some old photos to be sure, but it is definitely the case and is actually quite freaky seeing how much you have receded.

Yep your scalp turns from a soft, healthy white-ish color/texture to a basically what your forehead skin looks like as it gets bald right?

Follicles are strong modulators of skin physiology. As follicle dies there's nothing out there to brings up all those capillaries, adipose tissue, etc.

I read here some time before that a user's scalp turned slightly more white-ish while on finasteride.

Always wondered if transplanted hair would gradually turn bald recipient scalp into healthy-looking scalp over a long term?

The NW0 area has whitened up slighly, infact this has happened before when I had good regrowth.. it then faded back and now looks like it's back again corresponding to a slight change in regime. I was just wondering if it is common.

I went from regaine minoxidil foam, to q-gain generic liquid, back to regaine foam and now back to kirkland generic liquid. I suspect that a 3 month batch of q-gain minoxidil may have been fake or out of date.
