Hi , I came across this article: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4017725/

Has anyone tried the pumpkin seed oil, saw palmetto, and green tea combo?

If so, how has it worked for you and do you take finasteride, min, nizoral?

Last question I'm wondering about is what the dosage of each of the supplements you are taking.

Thanks!

Interesting results. Seems like there is some moderate improvement.

I dont see any real cosmetically significant difference. Pointless even bothering the guy went from badly balding in before picture to badly balding in the after picture. If you regrow a few hairs your still badly balding makes no real difference

It's definitely not a replacement for finasteride/min/nizoral for sure, but it looks like it helped him a bit.

If it works, why not take that combo in the morning, then finasteride around nighttime?

Well OP, I don't know about saw palmetto. I took that crap for 6 months, no skips, and it did absolutely nothing for me.

Saw palmetto does not have any effect on the scalp and inhibiting DHT from binding to the follicle. it has no effect on lowering serum DHT values in the blood stream, and is snake oil

im not going to be the white knight defending saw palmetto, but I tried it a long time ago too. It definitely did something for me without going into details. I do think it has some effect, but all the details are up for debate. I think the form you take it in makes a big difference too. The powders dont seem to really work, but the liquid gel caps I took did.
