Repair Advice Please

I had a 1000 graft procedure done a little over 4 years ago by an infamous little outfit in Greece. I was fooled by their marketing and very nice salesman.

The procedure seemed to be done well and started to heal rather quickly which hair growing back and all.

But as the months went on, the are around the grafts stayed red. Some were worse than others, normally around areas where the graft was pitted from being transplanted too deeply.

I am currently saving up money to get a follow up procedures since (surprise surprise) I need repair work done as less than half the original grafts actually kept.

But, the areas are still quite red. The transplant area on my hairline is thin enough where I can easily see my original hairline. If I were ever to buzz my head there would be a very obvious red irritated half inch strip exactly where the procedure was done. Has anyone else heard of or experienced this? I read somewhere there is a steroid injection that can reduce the redness or scarring.

Any help would be must appreciated.
