Relieve the shedding - Would Tricomin Help?

I have shed so much hair in areas of minoxidil use. I began thinking that Tricomin/Folligen may bring these now dormant hairs back into growth phase faster . Do you think I should add this to my regime? I don't want to overkill though b/c I'm already using the big 3 and spironolactone. Ideas?

The ironic thing about minoxidil is it can cause shedding especially if you use 5% twice a day because it inflames the scalp and if you don't use an anti inflamatory your hairs will be inspired to shed easier such as in the shower when the scalp is wet and your rubbing the area .I have recently added tricomin and I felt the effects in the first application .It truly is the best anti inflamatory in my opinion . I now realize that I have been experiencing a slight inflamation sensation for ten years now which is quenched when applying tric . I have been applying more than need because I like the healthy skin feeling it gives . I think it will help a bit in the shedding area but don't exspect alot but its great regardless .

Glad Tricimin works wel for you. I got my hands on some Folligen and wow, my scalp FINALLY feels great despite all the dandruff related itching and Xandrox 5% use. I feel or now hope that I will see some reversal after my 2 1/2 months of Xandrox shedding and finasteride use. I will now use smaller dosages of the Xandrox 2x per day, and added the Folligen 1x, and the spironolactone 5% 1x. What do you think of this regime?

I think spironolactone (after some research)is slightly less effective than finasteride but together you would have a very little dht in your scalp .Your regime is very good but like any working regime you can't be looking in the mirror on a day to day basis for results . Don't get frustrated and look at the 6month difference nothing sooner .

oh by the way tricomin won't help stop the shedding but will inspire the follicle to sprout a little sooner after its rest phase .

Right, that was my objective, to shed the bad hairs and grow them back thicker and as soon as possible. My shedding has ceased over the past 2 weeks now and I just got a few new hairs cycling back in thick in the front thank god. I'm beginning to get some new hope, knock on wood. Tricomin/Folligen - great stuff!
