Regrowth with finasteride + min

I have been applying minoxidil 5% for almost 2 years now ( was NW2 when I started), I have had a lot of re growth the first 6 months with minoxidil alone, however I went through a very stressful stage of life and stopped applying minoxidil for about 2 - 3 months, and I lost ALL the hair that I regrew with minoxidil and then some. I started applying minoxidil again but it seems like it's not doing much anymore, I can't regrow the hair that I previously regrew with minoxidil and I'm slowly losing ground.

I started taking Finasteride a few days ago and I was wondering, can minoxidil gain back its effectiveness now that I'm supplementing with finasteride ?
Or minoxidil just won't work for me anymore ?

I'm no expert but have read a few topics that minoxidil hair is barstad to grow back if you leave it and come back. That's not to say you won't . 2-3 months of being back on a regime is not enough time to tell. Now that you've added finasteride I'm sure this will make a big difference . Be patient . Your last good gains took 2 years . Hair grows so bloody slow lol !

Don't forget to add nizoral shampoo into your regime - you could be super brave and take some oral minoxidil too but this is a very dangerous drug orally . 2.5mg is the minimum safe dose . Although it's a very risky add .
