Can anybody suggest me a good replacement for Minoxidil ? I am already on propecia and Nizoral for past month and other supplements (see my regimen, story and pictures) on my profile. I have been on it for 20 days and I am thinking bout replacing it with other re- growth agents. I guess the earliest you quit the less the withdrawal symptoms. What would be a good alternative. I am concerned with that flaky thing that minoxidil leaves on my hair and the twice a day commitment.

Thanks Global, So do I need to buy both the shampoo and Conditioner or will the Shampoo be enough ?
Can I use a regular light conditioner afterwards ?

On top of finasteride, minoxidil will give you the best bang for your buck. You don't have to use it 2x/day. Once/day or even every other day will likely help. You might try using it twice/day for several months initially, and then back off to once/day or so.

No the shampoo is a seperate product which also contains NANO, Prox-N is a topical lotion like minoxidil and contains several things.

Minoxidil is the best performer out of the topical regrowth agents. Give it time and follow the above advice. You may learn to love the minoxidil.

I disagree that minoxidil is the best performer. It's the only topical "FDA approved"..but that's about it.
