Regrowth after a shed

I'm really concerned about this shed. It started 1 month after I began my finasteride/MIN regimine.

OK, here's the question: after a massive shed how would you rate the condition.
1. Lot's of new thicker hair coming in.
2. Same (no change)
3. Looks worse.

I'm in the 4th cosecutive shed month. I have read most of the posts about it, but I was looking for a general feel for what is "most likely to happen".

when did you start finasteride? is this your first four months on it?

my hair always seem to just look better after sheds (always took about 2 weeks to look better) but my sheds were always very short, like 3 weeks. i think right now i am going through another mini one. someone with a longer (four month) shed might be able to help you a bit more.

what helps me get through the sheds is when you see a hair fall out, think, ha! that DHT starved bastard is gone! now a new thick and well nourished hair can replace it! its totally taking something that freaks you out and scares you, into something positive. i really think this kind of attitude is key in hair loss fighting.

I started to shed again on my right side 4 1/2 months ago, and I just started to get 1 sprout patch back and hopefully the rest will follow. My left side at the start of treatment shed like crazy all at once and has regrown very nicely. 4 1/2 months is a longer shed, and conside seasonal shedding too in November,. The hair cycle has slowed a bit but hopefully it will all come back soon. 4 Months is the typical shed time before regrowth of those same hairs.

i used to get worried when i shed. but it always grows back..so i don't worry anymore..no matter how bad my hair looks

Nice, its just wierd that my left temple is so perfect and my right is destroyed right now from varying shedding tiimes.
