So I've been on Finpecia for just over 3 months and Rogaine for just over 6. It has decimated my Hairline and overall my hair feels thinner but I do feel like I'm getting a bit more coverage at the back of my head. So I'm staying optimistic.
Anyway, the main point of the thread. I'm seeing lots of tiny hairs appearing around my hairline.... Standard I know. But while I know there are whisper thin white hairs that can only be seen in certain light. These hairs coming in are much darker. After I have a shower and pull my hair back, I can see all the little black hairs coming in. My question is when hairs like these appear, do they grow at the same rate of normal hairs, or would I expect them to fall out smaller and grow again until they are fully grown hairs?(if indeed they are proper hairs and not miniaturization.
I suppose my question would be for anyone who had success on the hairline, what was it like watching these hairs grow in, when they first appeared did it take a lot of time for them to grow fully? I'm guessing because they're dark in color that they're proper hairs coming through, but I suppose that's one of the things I'm asking. Is a darker hair popping up a sign that the treatment is working? Thanks guys!
