Hi
I live in the UK & Regaine Foam has just become avaliable here. Currently i take Dutasteride (Avodart) Mon, Wed, Fri for my hairloss. I have done this for about 5 yrs & while their has been no spectacular regrowth it seems to have stabilised. I still have a fair amount of hair on the top of my head though you can see my scalp.
Therefore, i was going to try the Regaine Foam & add it to my regime but i noticed on the pack that it is not advised for use by the over 49s (i am 50). Does anyone have any idea why this is ?. Would it be ok for me to try or is it dangerous for my age group.
What i can't understand is that if someone say in their 30s started using this & it worked then they would have to give it up at 49 & any regrown hair would fall out.
