Hi guys, I can't seem to find anything that helps. I keep getting inflamed bumps on my scalp. http://m.imgur.com/a/FE1pj

In addition, I've been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis and I get like cornflake sized flakes only on the right side of my hairline. Also, one area of my scalp always has a slight constant itch. I have a very oily scalp.

I'm also slightly allergic to fragrances but I've stopped using those completely well over 4 months ago.

Do you think these problems could be caused by high DHT? I did get my DHT levels checked and they're at 81ng/dL, which is pretty high as the max for the normal range is 85ng/dL. Would taking propecia help these problems? I've been at about a Norwood 1.5 for almost two years without any change.

I've had exactly the same issues as you, before you do anything try Neutrogena T/Gel Shampoo Greasy. It really helped me with almost instant relief from the weird pulling sensation I used to also get in addition to itch, non harsh (I use it every day) and much better than the coal tar based ones or nizoral.

If you cant find it where you are, try any shampoo with piroctone olamine.

That looks a bit like a pimple. Your DHT is on the high end so likely anything that reduces it would help you.

That's what I'm thinking but I don't wanna make a life changing mistake..

That's actually one shampoo I have yet to try! I've tried basically all shampoos. I'm looking for something that's not a shampoo. Shampoos seem like they are bandaid solutions

I doubt the seborrheic dermatitis is directly from DHT, as women get it as well. It's also hereditary.

Piroctone olamine is good stuff.

Yeah true but it affects men way more often. Maybe only the very manly ones get it?
