Hi guys,

I've been on Propecia for years--it has seemed to maintain my hair without any further loss. 6 months ago I added Nizoral 1% about every 2-3 days. Now I use it about every other day. I also started a 5% minoxidil regimen twice a day. After a few months of the minoxidil I started noticing some regrowth on my hairline, which I hope will get thicker.

If I want to beef up my regimen a little bit, I was wondering what a good next step would be? Any recommendations as to what to add to my regimen/do differently?

Hmm, your next step might be Dutasteride. It is stronger that Finasteride, but is also said to have more side effects. Another idea might be to add some dietary supplements such as Multivitamines, Green Tea Extract, MSM,.... The list is endless and you have to decide yourself what you are going to take.

Don't mess with success - if finasteride is working for you, keep taking it, don't risk switching to dutasteride. You're a good responder to finasteride, bu thats not guarantee that you'll be a good responder to dutasteride.

A good general rule of the thumb is not to replace treatments, simply add them as needed. If finasteride. had stopped working for you, switching to dutasteride. is understandable.

I'd say definately add a copper peptide. Cheap, easy to use, with no side effects - and do wonders to calm scalp irritation. Tricomin, Folligen or Prox-N.

Finasteride + minoxidil + nizoral + copper peptide is a very strong regimen.

When should I apply to copper peptide if I'm using minoxidil twice a day? Before? After? One immediately after the other, or should I wait?

I generally add folligen at night time an hour before bed and only after minoxidil has dried completely.

for the hair line u could use spironolactone cream or one of dr proctor's products from http://www.drproctor.com.

can i just ask... are copper peptides androgen blockers or receptor blockers??

also, have a look at the scalp exercises below. i highly recommend them.
