Hey guys I recently got my DHT levels checked and they're at 81ng/dL. According to the range on the lab test 30 -85 is considered "normal" however I read that normal could be as low as 70ng/dL. I am not on finasteride or dutasteride but I do take saw palmetto everyday.
I am not experiencing much hair loss and I have been around a NW1.5 for over a year without much change. No crown loss. I do shed a lot of hair in the shower (avg. of about 100 strands or so) but I do have terrible seborrheic dermatitis and inflammation that causes my scalp to be tender and painful to the touch. This makes me nervous about future hair loss. Can my seborrheic dermatitis be due to the elevated dht levels? I'd say that 81 is still rather high.. plus I do have good hairloss genetics from looking around at my family (only one cousin ever went bald). What do you guys think? I'm 23 by the way.
