Receding Hairline? Maturing Hairline? Stress? I'm An Idiot?

My hairline has definitely started to thin & recede over the past couple years, but I can't tell if it's just going to settle or continue. Nobody in my family excepting my grandfather on my father's side went bald (and he went bald in his 70s.) Everyone else just has naturally high hairlines and stops at norwood 2/3 in their 40s. Apparently my brother had his hairline recede for a period, and then it came back. Perhaps it's just due to stress?

In any case, I'm panicking a bit. Seeing a dermatologist next week about it.

Your hair is actually insane. Also, don't worry about the hairline, it's a widows peak that you probably had all your life

Update for any who care: saw a dermatologist today and he told me I'm balding at a mild rate. We'll see how it goes from here, but I'm likely buzzing it all. Hair falls out constantly. I hope it's not insanely aggressive, but I also just want to stop caring about it.

Do u reckon I'm balding or is it a double crown/cowlick?

Can see scalp through hair under certain light .

I've attached photos of it under certain light.

Probably more of a cow lick. Are you seeing more hair fall out than normal? Does your hair feel thinner than it did before? Can you see your scalp in places you previously weren't able to? If no, then don't worry about it, if so, go see a dermatologist. Otherwise you're just gonna be paranoid about it and it'll make you miserable. Go see a dermatologist if you're really concerned.

Same cowlick as mine. It appears the same with a phone flash from that exact angle only. Don't worry about it
