Hello,
First time poster here. I'm 39, and for the last couple of years have been suffering from receding hairline + vertex balding (type 3V).
About 5 months ago I started on a regiment of minoxidil (1ml, twice a day) + stemoxidil (expensive L'Oreal stuff, now Garnier Fructis). I apply them on all hair loss areas. The good news is that I see some very definite improvement with regard to the the vertex loss and some, but limited effect at the front. There's some growth there, but density is still a problem... From what I read, short of a transplant there's nothing which truly works for the receding hairline problem - is this true? Any advice?
Thanks
