Hi guys,

So my hair has been slowly falling out since my early 20's, however in the last (very stressful) year it's kicked in to high gear. I can feel hairs falling and hitting my face frequently and see them on my hands when I rub my head. Obviously just looking at how much my hairline has moved at the sides is telling enough.

About 6 months ago I tried finasteride and it was not a great experience in terms of side effects. I had some serious pain and loss of feeling down there, both of which didn't seem right to "push through".

So now I'm wondering what my best options are. Obviously I hope it slows down now that I'm not in such a stressful state of mind but I have a feeling that's not very likely. And either way, it's gotten to the point where it's quite noticable.

Is it worth starting a Minoxidil regime? I've been using nizoral 1-2x a week since I tried finasteride but I realize it's not likely to keep up on its own.

Thanks for your time.

Why you hidding your face? You're ashamed of something?

yes, you're going bald.

unfortunately finasteride, and dutasteride are the only medications that actually seem to do anything in regards to inhibiting DHT.

Could try RU, azelic acid, and spironolactone s5 to name a few.

You could've just assumed I was uncomfortable posting my face on the internet, however I suspect you enjoy opportunities such as this to be an ***.

Shookwun, thanks for the suggestions.
