hi all, im 22 years old and live in the uk, i have a receading hairline at the temples, they go back about an inch and a half, i can cover it but i would prefer not to, the rest of my hair is good and thick, so is there any ways to get this back that are highly reccommended for this type of boldness? and would it be possible to get it back 100%?

any help is much appreciated.

pics please...

if you are in the early stages of receeding, you want to get on Finasteride right away to halt its course. Also add in Nizoral shampoo (1 or 2%) and use 2/3 times a week. See how that goes and if you really want growth along your hairline, look into Rogaine Foam.

You certain can get growth back into your hairline, but with these treatments your not going to get your hairline 100%, but you will at least get considerable improvement.

Peace...

finasteride - treatment backbone and maintenance
Rogaine (minoxidil) - regrowth, but like he said, u won't get your original hairline back. also, expect shedding before results.
Nizoral - good scalp health and possibly maintenance (but little compared to finasteride)

Hey you got a nice hairline right now. It's probably exactly the same as when I started. You will definitively need to get on Propecia if you want to keep it.
nizoral also, everything else is your. There is many things comming out right now.

Right on your front will get just a bit thinner for 9 months with Propecia but it will come back stronger. You can look at that happening in my pics. I started at 25 so you will either not shed as much or even grow back more than me. Actually I don't think you will have a big shed whatsoever.

I also added something but has not gotten here yet. so

hi, got back onto this forum.

would it be a good idea to have a small hair transplant, then take medication to prevent further hairloss?

I don't think its a good idea to have a hair transplant until you have halted your hairloss with medication and you have reached at least 30-34 years of age. You're too young right now and obviously haven't tried any treatments.

Get on finasteride (propecia or proscar) and nizoral shampoo. If things are too aggressive consider adding minoxidil (rogaine).

i did some research, looking at peoples success stories, and theres one person who takes the following:

rogaine 5% twice a day
propecia 1mg once a day
nizoral shampoo three times a week

this persons hair has receaded in the same way as me, my hair hasnt receaded as far tho, and it seems like similair hair type.

does this sound like a good starting point?
can i have advice on places to buy this, i searched on the internet and found places but want reliable places and good prices also.

thanks for any help.

Those are short for finasteride and minoxidil, in other words, Propecia and Rogaine, which you already know of.
