ive been taking spironolactone topically for about 6weeks and i thought all was going great, on the front above my forehead and above the temples where its receding a bit. the front above my forehead has psiorasis, ive used coal tar shampoos in the past to relieve this, and i tried betnovate when i was 22 (10yrs ago)as thats when it started for about 6months which helped, ever since this (since 22) the front above the scalp has been slightly thinner than the rest of my hair, so i had to no2 cut it ever since to make it look fairly even
anyway things seemed to be improving since starting sipro 7wks ago, and the front started to look as thick as everywhere else, so i gew it longer than no.2 to look less thug like for a job interview, 2 days before the interview (10days ago) I looked in the mirror as i noticed increased frontal itching and the front had thinned again literally overnight in fact it looked worse than ever before , so with the longer hair all over it looked sh*Telogen Effluvium with a thin bit above the forhead, so i returned to the thug look for my interview, i also noticed strange rash on my forehead around the hair line and above. I have since stopped the spironolactone and the rash has gone but the thinness continues and itching, i also had had a break from nizoral a week before the shed so this may have something to do with the increased itching
Ive been on finest. for 9 months now 1mg per day, nizoral for 6, and green tea for 6months, and havent lost any hair since this regime

my spironolactone was home brew about a 10mg/ml of crushed tablets in water, and id use a few mls morning and evening, im worried now that ive sensitised to it, so ive stopped using it for a week, restarted the nizoral.
anyone have any opinions, advice or help? its so cr8p, my hair above my scalp is now worse than it was before taking spironolactone about 7 weeks ago, got loads of spironolactone tabs left and i dont want to take them orally, rogain seriously irrates my prioriasis so i cant use that, anyone know what else i could try? available in the UK
thanks
