Has anybody experience this side effect from using finasteride? I 've used finasteride 5g cut into quarters, each quarter every second day, for almost a month and discovered many red dots on my body (chest, tummy, and goin area a few days ago. I went to the dr. he gave me clarityn and some cream. Told me to stop finasteride for a month. He said that if i were allergic to finasteride, i would have notice this side effect immediately (i.e a few days after i take the medicine.) I hvae shedded for the past 4 weeks, and coming into this week, i've seen decreased in shedding. I'm optimistic about the result. I do not want to stop the medicine. If i am really allergic to finasteride, what could i do? Will the body start to develop a tolerance toward this medicine?
