Rapid heart beat with Rogaine. Where to now?

Hey guys:

I was using Rogaine 5% but had to give it up because I was getting rapid heart-beat. Needless to say, I put it down. I would rather be bald than dead. :wink: I was getting results and people were asking me if I was using Rogaine.

I am 39 years old and I have slowly been balding since I was 25. I have a bald-spot on the back of my head(vertex) about 3 inches in diameter and my hair is thinning on the sides of my temples(like Tiger Woods).

Anyway, I would welcome any suggestions.

When did you give it up? Maybe you should try it again. Use smaller doses and use it once a day, then slowly increase everything. maybe you'll get used to it.

Yes, try applying a little less minoxidil b/c I would get that occasionally when I put too much on. If it still occurs then try 2% or go to Tricomin.
