Hello there, This is my first time posting to the forum boards, but I have been reading all the helpful info. Since November I started experiencing symptoms of hypothyroidism. Cold extremities, low body temp, (usually no higher than 97.3) dry skin, constipation, having a hard time getting out of bed, weak libido, (28 year old male). , and actually the most scary part of it all my hair changed. I went from a full thick head of black hair, now I have very wispy brown/black looking hair. My texture of my hair has changed so drastically and I have been loosing tons of hair! Since November, I would say I lost 30% of my hair. I went to see a dermatologist and they gave me a scalp biopsy, Results came back as non scaring non inflammatory hair loss. with increased Telogen/Anagen hair follicles, along with increased minizuation. Ive lost hair from all over my head, behind my ears, on my neck. The dermo told me I had Telogen Effulvium. I've been back and forth to so many doctors no body seems to want to do anything for me. SO my endocronoglist asked me what I wanted to be tested for I gave her my list and we went from there. A lot of alarming things if you ask me. She only wants to treat one of those issues, which I think is being caused due to a higher TSH. I was put on clomid back in October to get my test levels up naturally, and they also put me on Tamoixfen citrate. I stopped taking the clomid and Tamo when I noticed the change in hair. I have returned back to clomid only about two weeks ago after my doctor saw my test levels
